Board of Directors
President and Treasurer
Patrick Belics has been President and Treasurer on the Board since 2013. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Theatre Conservatory at Roosevelt University. He currently works as an actor and director throughout the Chicago theatre community.
Vice President and Secretary
Andy Monson has been Vice President and Secretary on the Board since 2013. He holds a degree from Roosevelt University. He has worked as an actor, writer, director, and administrator for numerous theatre companies in Chicago. He is proudly employed by the League Of Chicago Theatres.
Linda Calandra has been a board member since 2016. She is currently in Communications and PR at Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S.A. in Deerfield, having recently returned to her hometown Chicago after two years living and working in Germany. She is a passionate lover of the arts, especially mission driven theatre. While living in New York City for twenty years, she supported the performing arts community in many ways, including as Board President of the Mint Theatre Company, an acclaimed Off Broadway theatre, as well as serving on the Boards of the Brooklyn Philharmonic and the Helicon Foundation. In addition, she supported other organizations as well in strategic planning, marketing, communications, fundraising and benefit planning activities.
Jan Viscum has been a Board Member since 2016. A native of Joliet, Illinois, Jan fell in love with Chicago as a child and has now been a resident for over thirty years. During that time, she earned a B.A. from Loyola University and has made a city-wide impact with her work in the fields of tourism, entertainment, and hospitality. In addition to sharing her talents with Spartan, she is currently one of foremost professionals in Chicago's world-renowned concierge industry.
