Cody has been Managing Director of Spartan Theatre Company since 2015. He hails from Ball State University where he received a B.S. in Theatre Performance and Mathematics. Always eager to learn something new, Cody willingly throws himself into uncharted waters. A selection of previous, ignorant, aquatic excursions includes the roles of Dr. Chasuble in “The Importance of Being Earnest”, Professor Bhaer in the musical “Little Women”, touring as the King in the children's musical “Pickle Chiffon Pie”, and a jaunt to the Playwrights' Center in Minneapolis.
Cody first came into contact with Spartan Theatre during the voice recordings for Spartan's production of “Talk Radio” by Eric Bogosian. Having worked for Indiana Public Radio, he was thrilled with the chance to work on his voice over skills. He has since come on board as staff and, in addition to his other duties, served as Dramaturg on “A Bright Room Called Day”.
