Spartan Theatre Company

Spartan Workshop for 2016

Spartan Theatre Company continues their tradition of developing exciting new works from up-and-coming local playwrights with their staged reading series to be presented at the historic Chicago Cultural Center. Five one-act scripts were selected for development and will be presented over five weeks.

Based on audience feedback, one script will be chosen for a full production at this coming September's Chicago Fringe Festival. Come be a part of the process as Spartan develops original work from Chicago's finest playwrights.

Admission is free. All performances take place at the Studio Theater at the historic Chicago Cultural Center.
